Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

This policy explains what personal information TroveHall collects, why we collect it, and who we share it with. It applies to www.trovehall.com.

Who we are

TroveHall is a purchasing agent service based in Guangdong, China. For the purposes of this policy, TroveHall is the controller of the personal information described below. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

  • Account information — your email address and a hashed password when you register.
  • Order information — the recipient’s name, delivery address, phone number, and email address; the items you ask us to buy; and your order history.
  • Communications — messages you send us through our contact form, our chat, or email, including any photos you attach (for example as evidence in a refund request).
  • Technical information — your IP address and browser type, recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

We do not receive or store your card or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by PayPal.

Why we use it

  • To create and secure your account.
  • To buy goods from suppliers on your behalf.
  • To arrange international shipping and customs paperwork.
  • To answer your questions and handle refund requests.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

  • PayPal — to process your payment and any refund. PayPal handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
  • Suppliers in China — to buy your items we must tell the supplier what to supply. To ship to you, we must give our supplier or warehouse your name, delivery address, and phone number.
  • Shipping carriers — your name, address, and phone number, so your parcel can be delivered.
  • Service providers — the email service we use to send order confirmations and status updates.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

TroveHall operates from China and ships from China. Your information — including your delivery details — is transferred to and processed in China so that we can buy and ship your order. Where you are in the EEA, the UK, or another region with data transfer rules, we rely on your consent and on the necessity of the transfer to perform our contract with you.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the shop: to keep items in your cart, to keep you signed in, and to remember basic preferences such as your chosen currency. These are essential cookies — if you block them, parts of the site will not work. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. Account and order data are kept while your account is open. Server logs are kept for a short period. You may ask us to delete your account, and we will do so except where we are required by law to keep records.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

TroveHall is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

We protect your information with access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

Changes

If we change this policy we will publish the new version here and update the date at the top. Where the change is significant, we will also notify you by email.
